Trying to contact Fedele Cacia
Hello.
I've recently tried to contact Fedele but it seems the email address I have for him has expired.
Could anybody help ? Maybe pass on my regards as I think he should still have my address and he could send me his new one.
Thanks,
Steve.

It's my understanding that the numerology is linked to the Buddhist religion. It has little to do with the forms per se. Thanks Bill. I'd heard that there was a Buddhist significance but I also thought there was a more practical interpretation although numbers of steps, strikes etc never really con...

Its one of those things that most will recognize when they see it. I agree entirely. But.... how would you describe it ? :? making the performance greater than the performer I think that's a very good description. Any more ? I personally described, in relation to adding spirit to a given kata, that...

'Spirit'.
Hi all. I was talking to some fellow students earlier this week and we were discussing adding 'spirit' to kata, as discreet from strength. I personally found it difficult to articulate the concept and just wondered if anybody would venture their description of 'spirit'. The beauty is, it's one of th...

Fuzhou Suparinpei
Bill (et al). Reading the very interesting 'Bridge kata' thread, I was curious about the Fuzhou suparinpei which is discussed. I wondered if you'd be so kind as to answer a few questions for me, where you can. I know of the name Suparinpei but other than that, know nothing of the kata so please forg...

I assisted Terry Daly who was giving a class on Uechi Sanchin to Harry's class up at Hexham. So ..... Hello  Jorvik, how long ago is 'many years ago' - we may have me...

Hi Bill, Thanks for your reply. Your point about negativity not precluding objectivity is a fair one. I accept that it is natural to hypothesize about the outcome of tests prior to their performance, however there is also the consideration of “confirmation bias”, whereby somebody can ( unwittingly a...

Hi all, If I may submit my humble opinion, I’m a little concerned about how this discussion might appear to those who aren’t aware of the relationship between this forum and the Kyusho community. It is possible that Uechi could be seen as trying to take the position as the arbiter of universal truth...
