Of course you can "Train" any way you choose. My comment was a gut reaction to what struck me as an off shoot of a current advertizement for the cable show "Reno 911" in which a clown walks up to a policewoman and claims to be immune to any "Wizard prizmatic spray" he i...

And the point of this will be what? After you hit him in the face, why not kick him in the nuts and crack his head with a night stick until he is subdued so you can duck tape spray soaked cotton balls to his eye lids. Better wear gloves, keep the balls in a baggie., or in tin foil. Hell, while you a...

Doing a quick estimate I think you could do your floor in those interlocking mats for about $400. I figured $20 pr 16sq/ft. = four mats pr pack at $20 pr. Good luck shopping Bruce

Dear Bill Thank You for what you just posted.
In the end, it is not the strength of the body but the strength of the mind over it that counts. There lies the real beauty and power, the rest is an illusion.

The water idea is good too. It's a traditional way to think among lots of styles. I like it too, don't need anything to do it. Only trouble is people like myself tend to insist the fingers stayed tight when they didn't. The feeling was there after all. Unless there is someone to watch, it can be har...

Actually I should not have said "Pretend to hold" because you want to see where the coin drops. I also really like the idea of the coins between the fingers because when they get loose you'll know right away. Often people think their fingers are tight and they are not. I am very guilty of ...

If it were me I would hope my death was caused from drinking too many lime based rum drinks from a traditional African pot while in the company of a beautiful African maiden!

Well, then there is an idea to hold, or at least pretend to hold, a coin in the palm of your hand to remind you not to turn your hand over too soon in the strike. Seems there can be a tendency for the elbows to leave the side of the body and form an arch rather than stay directly behind the hand if ...
