lock and load

Do a little searching in the Shorin Ryu area, There you will find a lot said about hip rocking and cocking in generating power in striking. When I studied Shorin ryu I found the principals of unloading and body recoiling very similar to what some Okinawan Uechi ryu teachers have been doing.
