Hello, Thought I would just chyme in here. I post when there is positiveness in thoughts and sharing of knowledge. I tend to read alot and absorb alot .... thats just me. I dont post when its negativeness and/or filled with difference of views that is argued for the point of 'nil'. Different stokes ...

Good thread, I usually use a stick as opposed to the rolling pin ... same conditioning benefits. You could try using a table type surface as well to condition the forearms by rolling your arms one at a time on the stick (or pin) on the table.

Just more thoughts,

One way of perhaps handling this type of/similiar situation: Communicate to them to be more controlled. If they continue, humbly 'humble' them and again humbly communicate and make it a point of learning/teaching. They will either come back for more with a different 'view' of things ... or not come ...

Interesting thread topic .... some of my thoughts on this matter.... I like to look/perceive/be aware of all possibilities of an opponent by there body positioning. Knowing and understanding how the body works and what it is capable of from different positions and stances is of great benefit here. A...

Also agreed. Its more effective to stretch with your muscle fibers in a 'warmed up' state. Something else you might want to try is stretching 'in between' whatever excercises or excertions you are doing ... ie, sets of kicks, weights ... etc ... I usually stretch in between and post work out. Humbly,

BTW-Micheal, your avatar is making me sea-sick  Heh, my mind deception is working !!! j/k :D Sorry about that. I like the idea of continual motion  Pertaining to the scenario with a group coming and one of the smaller attempting to throw a sucker punch: Ideally, I would intercept, 'destr...

I dont train in just one style ... I dont believe in just one style. I respect all ... and have cross-trained very diligently on my own with many different people and groups. The person that got me started on my own path ? I would have to say two people ... my father and my uncle. My father 'instill...

I have to agree that an 'aware' bouncer that diffuses a situation by positive mannersism while maintaining a mutually respectful aura (instilled by your look, body language and actions that you wont cause trouble, but you will not put up with trouble), are the most effective 'bouncers'. Another key ...
