Wow, so much great information above, thank you both.

I just found a web site on the War of 1812. It highlights each battle.

Re: Invasions

The US invasion of Canada is pretty well forgotten. JT The invasion of Canada? By this are you referring to the war of 1812. York, Ontario being the first capital of Canada was invaded by the US. This is the reason why our capital is Ottawa now. As well I believe that some British folk came down an...

Re: Hello

Hello Amos: "Fight With Honor Die With Pride" Good words. Is it a military based motto? Could be military, I really don't know. I heard it when I was a child and made it my own over the years. I could have heard it from some family members, I'm the only one ( on my mothers side of the fam...

I like that smoking room and its passive-aggressive point that it make. As a smoker, I am hoping that I can truly give up the habit and shed the extra expenses on my pocket book and health before the years end. My only dilemma, is I have to start blaming myself for my addiction and stop blaming the ...

Re-itroduction

Hello all, I guess I should re-introduce myself. I was a member of this site about two or so years ago. I started taking Uechi at that time, and I went on hiatus for a spell. I have started my Uechi training again in July, and am hoping to step it up a notch now that my job is going into its slow se...

I am just wondering why Muslims take to the streets in route because of a silly political cartoon, while Christians are subject to watching there religion being made fun of on primetime sitcoms. I don't see any problem with anything the pope may say, while in the other hand you have some (not all) M...

I don't see how any man can not come to the aid of a lost child. I don't think that any law enforcement group or any other agency should every imply that men shouldn't aid in any situation due to the thought of them being a suspect merely because they are a man. I don't believe that there is any man...

This goes to show me even more that most of what I see and hear, as well most of the history that I was tot is generally wrong or misleading. I have always thought people in the media and the political arena are not telling the masses the whole truth, but the full reasoning still escapes me. Granted...
