Re: Seriously?

You're getting your info from a conservative paper, factor out the bias filter before you start taking their word. ... LOL! You mean I'm not taking advice from the NYT Editorial page? Shocker. No, seriously, Glenn. I'm looking at numbers. The cold, hard truth is that Republicans didn't turn ...

Re: Seriously?

Nice try, Glenn. If a company says they have to fire x number of people to get ready for Obamacare, I'm going to take them at their word. ;) Also, we tried moderate candidates twice now. Fool them once, shame on you, and so forth... I don't think you're going to get another moderate to pull the foot...

I took 24 hours to mourn.
Now I get to watch everything go to ##### at an accelerated rate for four years.

The bleeding has already begun.

Re: The man behind the curtain

I'm with you on this, Bill. There's 'not enough evidence to suggest a coordinated attack' that killed a former U.S. Navy SEAL and a U.S. Ambassador. Uh huh. No coordinated assault, just an uprising involving RPGs and assault rifles. Uh huh. We should NEVER apologize for someone's expression of free ...

Re: Why did this catastrophe happen?

From Mike's link: "It turns out that the officers' "hit ratio" on Friday was almost twice as good as the department's average." They had to act, and it's a miracle more people weren't hurt. What I don't get is why they didn't try to simply follow the guy until he wasn't in the mi...

Speaking of habits, this is a wonderful book to help understand habits and how to change them: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51NKYsxFV9L._BO2,204,203,200_PIsitb-sticker-arrow-click,TopRight,35,-76_AA300_SH20_OU01_.jpg The Power of Habit Post edited by Bill to make the image work and the link...

Re: Why all athletes should do kotekitae

I've switched to Diet, too, since changing some of my other habits. No sense in burning a ridiculous number of calories, only to replace them. I'm also drinking a great deal less of that (I enjoy one at work on shift, to kill the urge to visit the $2.00 pop machine). Back in my sleep apnea-addled da...

Re: Tis the Season - A little bit of partisan politics

Afterburner is but one outlet Bill Whittle's used for these video shorts, and suprise! He's really good at them. He's able to speak clearly, very quickly (I wonder how many takes he has to go through sometimes to edit out the flubs), and his editors keep the pics coming at a breakneck pace to keep u...
