Mike, I could see how robots.txt could pose a problem for a site like the WaybackMachine. It's basically a bot that scours the internet and stores it, and some sites have used that file to block bots. Now that the info is archived I don't think it would ever be a problem again. But you never know what else might happen, so it would probably be a good idea for those who value the information to back up those pages on their own systems.
