Bill Glasheen's "38 Special" drill

Post by gmattson »

The one and only. . . Dr. Bill. . .

This is for all those who doubted that Bill could walk and chew gum at the same time and who pestered him to make a video. Well, here it is. . . the original, uncut version. . . 38 Special:

Interesting kicking drill. This seems like a fun way to go through a wide variety of kicks (some not really prevalent in Pangainoon) arranged in a flowing but challenging manner.

Gonna have to give this a try...

Nice job on 38 Special. Thanks for posting that, George. I wanted a copy of that.

How long ago was that?

Bill has been trying to teach us to walk and chew gum at the same time....must be dyslexic.

Best to ask Bill about the date he created that video. I've had it on VHS for a long time and finally converted it to DVD last year.

Vicki

I had Matt Abu Jaber film that for me before my rokudan exam. That would have been around 1994. I haven't changed a bit since then. Still the same ugly MF. 8)

Get Ray Berry to take a look at this. He'll get a k... I mean he'll enjoy it. He did after all inspire me on parts of my training.

1994? Wow, I was just a karate gleam in your eye as a student at that point. I think I started with you in the fall of 1994...hard to believe.

I sent that to Ray to check out, Bill.

Later,
Vicki

PS Ray started back with his classes. I have missed the first couple.
