I,frankly, had diverged considerably from the stated intent to fit the forum around my areas of scholarship and study, and, If I hit a current eveents matter that would attract readers, yes, I went with it.
Having said this, you both are welcome always, period.
At least as to my posts, they will follow Western warfare more than Western "individual" martial arts.

I have recently begun SAS Shooting, my Handle there is "Yellow Jack", I'' talk about the format of this "art' when I am a bit better at it.
Thus far I am at the level of the "Mythbusters" last knight trying to disprove that a quickdraw could clear the leather and fire 5 shots before a coin on the back of the shooters left hand (arm parallel to the ground) hit the ground after release.
They were a danger to themsleves and all in the vicinity (fortunately they were using blanks) until they called in a genuine #1 "gunfighter class shooter.
He at least managed to clear between two and three shots before the coin hit.
That rates a 'wow;.
