Web spell checker!. . .

Post by gmattson »

Jan 28, 2006 update: Google's new tool bar has a spell checker that works great with forum posts....
=================

a spell checker that works with explorer. For all of us who type fast, are lousy spellers or just plain lazy, here is the program for you.

Go to http://www.iespell.com/ and download the program.

Its free (but donations are appreciated) and no ads or cookies.

It resides in your "tool" drop down menu in explorer. When you complete a post, before submitting it, click on "tools" and then "ieSpell".

Most convenient spell checker for the forums that I've found to date.

I'll download it and see if it works with Firefox.

BTW: I abandoned IE and went to Firefox -- Doesn't let thru a fraction of the junk, trojans, viruses, etc. that IE does.
Always with an even keel.

What the heck is Firefox??

Will it run all of ie software?

The viruses are really getting to be a pain in the butt. I spent a couple days trying to rid my new laptop of a bunch of dormant (at least I think they were dormant) viruses contained in my outlook files (pst).

Finally just deleted the pst files. Only way I could remove them.

Firefox Browser

Here is the link to their home page. I have used this browser for a couple of months now and would not go back to IE. Clean, bug-free browsing. They also offer an e.mail program called Thunderbird. Enjoy !

and did so without any problem whatsoever. (When is the last time that happened!)

I like the email program much better than outlook. Simpler to set up and much faster than outlook.
