Received two new "research" computers from my school on Monday and have been trying to set them up ever since. Both are 1 ghz. Pentium III machines
I have replaced my computer (the house server) and have the network working and my internet (cable modem) working. I've installed Internet Connection Sharing but still can't access the internet from any other networked computers - something that I could do when the Pentium 166 was my server.
Can anyone help?

WIN 98SE Internet Connection Sharing
problem solved. It was a Cache problem. Had to delete Internet Connection Sharing, power everything down, unplug the computers from the network hub, etc. Then power up my computer, reinstall Internet Connection Sharing, reconnect the network and all is fine!!!
I know something like this was covered before, but I also visited grc.com to test my connections and see what the outside world could see on my network. Great stuff!!
