Injuries

Post by C. J. Rupert Juta »

Bruising: Homeopathic Calendula
Infected wound with pus: Homeopathic Hepar Sulph
Immense pain: Homeopathic Hypericum and/or Chamomilla
Skin punctures with danger of infection (eg tetanus): Homeopathic Ledum
Cuts (eg episiotomy, surgery): Homeopathic Staphisagria
Splinter or thorn with pus: Homeopathic Silica will cause it to pop out.

As injuries are classed as acute, not chronic, you can take remedies frequently when required. For pain you can take them hourly until pain abates, but for infections and bruising, perhaps twice a day is better. Some homeopaths suggest only one dose, but my experience suggests that in such cases you should use more. In any event try not to exceed a total of 10 doses, although in my own experience this has not caused any problems.

Wishing everyone a merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
