OPEN letter to the KARATE-DO Community - PART 2

RESPECTED AUDIENCE,
(and this address is honest by heart, and at the same time is not addressed to those participants on this forum WHO do not deserve it, and ought to be kicked out by famous UECHI trade-mark shoken)

I, Igor Prasnikar (and I do not write in this way to present my "huge ego", but to point out that I firmly stand behind ANY but ANY of my arguments given in my first open letter) declare :

1. GENTLEMEN, I apologize to ALL SINCERE KARATE-DO JUNIORS UP TO THE HIGHEST RANK OF THE SENIORS, for MY TRULY OFFENSIVE ATTACK launched since last two days (BECAUSE TO OFFEND those WHO DO NOT DESERVE IT, IS IN FACT AGAINST COMMON STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOUR AMOUNG DECENT HUMAN BEINGS AND BASIC PRINCIPLES OF KARATE-DO) AND BECAUSE OF THAT I APOLOGIZE AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN.
2. GENTLEMEN, I had some good reasons for that. And if you are still willing to OPEN YOUR VERY HEART and LISTEN to arguments I have learned from KARATE-DO, there is a good chance that EVERYBODY will come out of this BATTLE as HIS OWN WINNER (very important, because in Karate-DO the very ultimate goal is (not UFC) but to win the most difficult adversary one can imagine - ONESELF. And by doing THAT, all together will be STRONGER AS a KARATE-DO COMMUNITY in the battle with JUNK-GARBAGE-MUMBO-JUMBO MARTIAL ART COMMUNITY.
3. GENTLEMEN, May I share with you first some details of my personal battle as according to the above said, it is so true, that I am my most fiercest adversary, I have ever met (not those I have won on the competition circuit from lowest ranks of competition, up to All Okinawa Karate-Do Championships and Okinawa World Karate-Do Tournament). I shall shorten my story so much, to save time, to go to very essentials. Everybody that was reading the posts going on yesterday, could feel with WHAT ease I have dealt with all UNDESERVED ADVERSARIES (why undeserved? Because THOSE, against WHOM OUR BATTLE should be directed WERE HIDING SAFELY in the BACK ROWS. All those "mooneys" and "deadly kyusho experts" (whose technical proficiency I DO NOT discuss) and "street survival specialists". The people, I put my joker in this game: above all my very first virtual adversary and good friend Bill Glasheen, Mr.Mattson, Mr.Khoury, Mr.Van Canna, to name just a few, were of COURSE PROPERLY CORNERED for one and only reason - because THEY, I BELIEVE, HAVE KARATE-DO IN THEIR HEARTS CEMENTED. PERIOD. And they can not produce any argument against what I SAY. So, winning such and adversary is REALLY not A WIN and I, Igor Prasnikar once again SINCERELY APOLOGIZE to ALL of them for this SHAKE of the DAY. So, it is so damn true, that I have yesterday HAD the BIGGEST FIGHT with MYSELF (because I was virtually fighting against PEOPLE THAT I DEEPLY RESPECT) and I HAD to be sharp in weapons all the time (although some may have felt, I was sarcastic and not honest) ONLY to show WHAT is the power of arguments, when they are common sense. IT is only with this sharpened "word TOOLS" that we can win OUR battle for Karate-DO on the net (but than on the ground too, of course, but there the game for me or you should be much easier, provided we train properly). And the first reason for my posts was the Open letter from Mr.Morris, which I have felt as a CHALLENGE to properly present my views on WHY he has come to such conclusions. I have left and waited long before, that somebody else would FINISH off those "mooneys" of yours, because they are for me no real opponents. BUT Mr.Morris is like you and me, I believe, one of those, who has spent a lot of sweat in trying to unclue the "mysteries of fighting art efficiency" and not by some CHEAP tricks or by molesting "sitting ducks".
4. GENTLEMEN, It came as a TRAGIC coincidence that in the middle of the heat of arguments with Bill, about the REALITY of SAVING ONE'S LIFE ON THE STREET that the tragic shooting of Mr.Wilder ocurred. And it showed precisely of how ABSOLUTELY NO PRACTICAL VALUE in such circumstances, the propheting of such Guru's is: Mr.Mooney can claim in vain (as his practial values are vain), he would be able to shake back the gunner with his vibrations at the distance of 4 feet and Mr.Evan Pantazzi could only order some surgion of yours, to extend his deadly arms for four feet, to hope he could USE, what he is propheting, but believe me, the desperate young burglar would finish him off as easy as he did Clarence, as he never entered that appartement to play a sitting ducks with Clarence. NOW, IF THIS IS NOT COMMON SENSE ARGUMENT, than I, Igor Prasnikar declare myself to be Donald Duck. And I also declare, that if anyone can produce contrary scientific arguments, I shall from this day on HAVE ENOUGH GUTS to also dress myself as Donald Duck and walk around as such for the rest of my life. Period.
5. GENTLEMEN, I had a privilege to learn from many SINCERE, HONEST and TRUE KARATE-DO Sensei's and believe me, no one of them, would advocate such practises. And I also was instructed by many DELUSIVE GURU's (one of my first teachers being certain individual Topolsek Mario, who also Mr.Mattson have heard off, and Terry Dukes of England, also discussed on these forums). I know how hard is to TAKE RIGHT COURSE, while so many claim they also are teaching KARATE-DO and it is so easy that garbage enters into our practise (see thread "All those applications..." - Dear Anthony, you are computer specialist, can you put it back from Adobe Acrobat file). But believe me there are also ENOUGH, GOOD COMMON SENSE, exercises that develope those basic, spontaneous reflexes, answers, THAT enable even those who are our most frequent customers (kids, grandma's, grandpa's, taxi drivers, students, people who lost their job, people who are in love, human beings) to PROGRESS in our KARATE-DO. And we should pay MORE ATTENTION TO THOSE exercises that this folks can BENEFIT from and not delude ourselves and our students with exercises that promise IMPOSSIBLE.
6. GENTLEMEN, Mr.Mattson has written many EXCELLENT books. I can assure you THAT I am still reading them over and over BUT not as A BIBLE, but to check HOW MY UNDERSTANDING OF KARATE-DO is changing. If it would not, I would not be progressing. And as I grow older, more and more THOSE SIMPLE ADVICES of COMMON SENSE VALUE are getting on value. That what Uechi Kanei Sensei had to say about, and what Funakoshi Gichin Sensei had to say about, just to menthion two of different sects of KARATE-DO. If we are common sense people, than sects will have little impact on us (I know how difficult it is because of all that "tribal rivalry" as Mr.Van had characterised it). Officially I am not one of your sect of UECHI-RYU Karate-DO, and I believe some may have thought, THAT this was some planned attack from another sect. BUT believe me, this has nothing to do with it, just contrary. From my experience to habitate with other sects of Karate-DO and share their experience, I have A FIRM STANCE OF MY OWN, that I shall CONTINUE to share my experience even between NOW SO MANNY sects of Uechi-Ryu Karate-DO. Because we are all KARATE-DO. And I do share my experiences in such a way. This is sometimes even more difficult. BUT, if we act like decent human beings, than we are decent human beings, and if we act like a fool, than we are nothing but a Fool. This sentence I repeat to myself to get POWER within myself.
7. GENTLEMEN, There are people who have short range of understanding, and there are those which horizons are wider. I am no leader of any proffesional karate association to be dependent on income and politics. I am Karate Student and Instructor to my students, because there was no one there before me (except my first instructor for a couple of month). And I have my job to do and my family to feed. And such is a life of most decent Karate-DO Sensei and their students in Okinawa, regardless of sect, and of many more worldwide. And together we are stronger. Simple. Why? To represent and fight for a decent position of our ART and sporting aspect of it in our Societies among other legitimate groups. We must help each other not ignore or just not be aware of each other. When Mr.Khoury set himslef upon a task to change the course of Uechi-Ryu sporting aspect, he might not have been aware of those UECHI-RYU Champions, WHO already had conquered WKF(WUKO) scene (and to tell you this, I was pissed of by a gentleman from England, who did not have the guts to name two of the best Uechi-RYU sport fighters in the world, representing England: Wayne Otto and Terry Daly (who started with Mr.Campbell in Boston) but was instead selling same foggy speculations. When we KNOW, what is going on around the world, THAN we have better chances to associate with those practices, that prevail and has through many years of testing, given at least some results (scientific approach and not mystic and good luck approach).
8. GENTLEMEN, I can only hope, that you can reconsider your feelings (of which many have been hurt) and that, there will be some POSITIVE step forward out of this SHAKING "KICK-IN-THE-BUTT" BOMB. Why did I not take different approach? Of course I could AND I DID. But results were insignificant because in that mass of the messages SOUND, SOBER VOICES are SO EASILY LOST among the garbage THAT prevails. When I posted "All those applications...", Mr.Khoury replied AMEN, but my dear friend Bill, in spite of his very scientific nature and MANY SOUND ADVICES he has given over the net, in THIS PARTICULAR SUBJECT of STREET REALISM, stubbornly tried to defend his mystical beliefs and that pissed me off. And I HAD TO finish him off like Matsumura MAY have finished off the engraver so many years ago, just to bring him down to REALITY, and become a very best friend of him, like they have become (it is just a story to teach an Important lesson). WE ALL must reconsider what we do. Including me, and I do it all the time, believe me. YOU HAD ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD to EXPRESS your positions before, but unfortunately have so many times failed, because you were lost in those endless discussions,where by the end nobody knows who is the winner, what is right and what is wrong. And those mumbo-jumbos are than accepted and further contaminate Karate-DO. AND "one MUST really have the guts to say JESUS".
9. Some may wonder if I consider myself to be the smartest guy and the best fighter on planet Earth. I assure you that when you would see my Karate performance many of you would be deeply dissapointed. I personally believe Bill Sensei performs better Kata than I do (although I haven't seen him so long but I judge from his advices he is giving that his is constantly exploring and studying them. It is not important what colour of belt persons ties around him or how brutally effective he might look in fighting (are we going to take UFC for our examples to achieve?) but that he studies Karate-DO with common sense, become aware of all the limitations of such practice, be inventive in what it makes SOUND sense and not in millions of sitting duck applications. Such practise is very benefitial and can be good fun. THAT is the REASON that I devote so much of my time, although I am not a proffesional Karate instructor, like some of the best Karate EXPERTS, I had the pleasure to meet and discuss the "secrets" with them. They in fact look so much as any ordinary citizen, that I have damn difficulty of finding them. I wish that the RESULT of this SHAKE would be that I and my students could further enjoy good, sound posts on your forums and share information. And that participants would communicate in respectfull manner with SOUND arguments BUT also have the GUTTS to admitt when they have no other sound argument of their own to produce. My strong language was just a virtual demonstration of STREET REALISM and that was a topic of the subject.
