I figured I'd ask here since everyone seems to be pretty well connected with this type of information.
I'm looking to buy traditional Okinawan/Japanese Tatami mats. I'm located in Massachusetts and know they aren't cheap... still I don't have the funds to spend ~$5k on a few hundred square feet of mats, so I'm wondering what anyone has for information.
I used to have an address for a place in Boston that had mats made specifically for them and they were very reasonable, but I can't find their number anymore.
Thanks in advance...

Panther,
Check out www.judoinfo.com for different sources of matting.
Theres a place down on capecod, www.linray.com I believe that has matting. Not sure if it's traditional though.
Best of luck
