All hype aside, I do like the way the man moves in his latter applications.

And at least he's using his shokens. ;)

And the Sacramento Art Work

Post by Robb in Sacramento »

And I have to applaud his choice of art work. The tiger, dragon, crane circle was created by Erin O'Toole, one of our black belts, for the Sacramento Uechi dojo. I always find it fascinating to see how far her art work has spread.

Here is the site for the source of that youtube clip:
http://www.monstermartialarts.com/index.html
Seems to be a mixing of various influences/styles, including Uechi Ryu, with something called "matrixing" thrown in, put together by a Al Case
Pan Gai Noon (core of Uechi Ryu)
Because of Matrixing, this art has been 'de-corrupted,' and is now easily the most powerful form of karate on existence. Period.
And here is a link to his Pan Gai Noon info page (an ad for his Pan Gai Noon DVD) page:
http://www.monstermartialarts.com/Ad-Pan_Gai_Noon.html
After a brief history of Kanbun Uechi he states:
The art proved to be the most powerful form of karate ever to be designed.
and it was renamed Uechi Ryu.

And, it was immediately corrupted. The three forms became eight forms, the better to entertain students (Read Mattson’s book if you don’t believe me) so they would stick around long enough to learn the three PGN forms.

I learned the system of Uechi Ryu, threw out the extra forms and used Matrixing to return the forms to their original simplicity and power.
