In many ways, medicinal herbs has a lot going for them. Prescriptions, which plays a vital role in treating medical conditions, can be intimidating from being artificially constructed using sophisticated technology which I can’t comprehend. An all-natural organic flu vaccine doesn’t exists. Another problem is waste or risk of overdoes. For example, one supplement packet has 1,000mg of Vitamin C, which is 1,667% of the daily value. It has 500% daily value of Vitamin D6 and 417% daily value of Vitamin B12—too much in nearly all cases. Herbs, in contrast, are ground-up plants or roots stored in my kitchen’s cabinet, to make my meals taste delicious. They have a rustic, wholesome feeling to them. One popular herb I enjoy is ginger, used in traditional Chinese medicine. Below are web pages describing their benefits:

Here’s one recipe:

Apple Yogurt (4 servings)

2 apples
32 ounce plain whole milk yogurt
ginger
A piece of dark chocolate bar—70% cocoa or higher—crushed

Peel and chop the apples. Mix into the yogurt. Sprinkle ginger and crushed chocolate to taste. The ginger gives the mix a nice complex flavoring with the apples.
