I didnt practice uechi long enough to really get a feel for it. Less than one year. But I loved it and would love a similar experience. Never the less, I am open to absolutely anything and look forward to checking these places out in person. http://geocities.com/bamboodojo/index.html (Cuong Nhu) her...

looking for advice: need to find a good style

Doesn't look like I can do uechi in Tallahassee anymore, at least, not with any direction. (I have a link to the developments of that story in my sig) There are a few places around town that I have looked at. - Moy Yat Ving Tsun Kung Fu: http://members.tripod.com/~Moy100/ - Tallahassee Shaolin Kung ...

The police havn't released any of the evidence that led to thier arrest. This makes me sick.

It was not a good speech to have at that college, that could have been avoided I think. I do believe the way it was handled is pretty interesting, not only the students reaction but also the media's view, especially in the second article posted. What I was actually wondering about was the content of...

An article I find to be funnier since it really describes the speech as an assault on the attendees. Check the reactions described, it's as if these people are witnesses to a bombing or something. There's also a link to hear the speech at the bottom. http://www.rrstar.com/localnews/your_community/ro...

Unless I am mistaken, the socialist ideas that NPR sometimes backs or encourages are not un American. I think many things have been manipulated by spinmasters to bring up automatic negative responses in people when certain words or phrases are mentioned. I always thought NPR did a very good job of r...

well, I don't know much, but I am positive that, used correctly, an open handed strike will be much more devastating than a closed handed one. I imagine one could kill animals attacking them with finely tuned open handed strikes, like a shark or an alligator. much less a street thug.
