The Supremes Have Spoken their Feelings...

Oh boy... Reports of the session on the 2nd Amendment bode well for the citizens. I would not be surprised to see a 6 to 3 decision in late June that affirms an individual right to keep and bear arms!

Life is good.

Sensei Van has a very nice Underwood-----but wishes to know what is the best. They are functionally all about the same. Keep in mind the last USGI version was built in 1945 so they are not new. Also, many were 'loaned' to other countries and may have well worn barrels. The #1 thing to check is the ...

But DO NOT carry, even in your car, under a license onto Shcool or UNiversity gronds. This is and old law which has not been vigurously enforced, but if your do get shaken down on school grounds, you are in deep doo doo if you are carrying. This is a state by state issue. In Virginia someone with a...

I guess my question is....in the middle of a fight, would it really be helpful to switch from armed/unarmed or vice versa...if you've had no practice...would the transfer be that helpful/applicable?
This is more of an issue pertainng to the 'force continuum'. I'll talk about that Satrday.

Wow, could have been a problem. I really do not know CT laws but while not as anti gun as MA they are not gun friendly, and are getting worse. CT is not shall issue but does issue out of state permits. You might want to apply for one. I might try to get one as my aging in-laws in Hartford may requir...

Van: With a Dem run congress things could be bleak. However, if the Supreme Court rules in favor of the of the right to keep and bear arms as an individual right this spring we could see an avalanche of pro gun legislation before the year ends.

I really do not know anything about it. It might be an IDPA special. I know Glock makes long slide tournament specials. The longer barrel improves accuracy and bullet velocity as well. This could be a 1911 variant.

Two more carbines arrive!

John: My Rockola and Winchester are here and they are great. The Rock's barrel has a bright bore and a muzzle that measures 1.5 on the bore gauge. The Win barrel is even better, with a 1.0 on the gauge. The Win came with a beautiful Rock stock. With a quick swap I have a Rock about a complete as you...
