Re: ACT / REACT
You can make up your own ending to this one. Ray told me that he blames himself for not paying attention to what was happening. He also said that he learned a good lesson. Well ---there's always two ways to learn. The easy way and the hard way. You pick which one. True enough. One lesson to serious...

Re: ACT / REACT
This reminds me of the 'Junta incident' http://www.cbsnews.com/news/hockey-dad-found-guilty/ Medical experts for both sides said Costin died of a ruptured artery in his neck, which caused severe brain damage. But they differed sharply on how much force was needed to cause the fatal injury. Dr. Stant...

Re: ART'S LESSON --
Good post on Sanchin Art.
There is also something else that a student of sanchin comes to realize as the study progresses...and that is a better sense of balance in quick movements and free style sparring...a sense of balance that a student will realize was not there before the practice of sanchin.

Re: Take what's there
God bless that man. He was most outstanding as a karate student, teacher and mostly as a friend. He'd give you the shirt off his back. This is what Uechi has meant to me over the years...the forging of bonds of friendship and respect with people of grand characters.
Rest in peace my friend.

Hi Bill, Thanks, I feel the same, we have had some good times on these forums. I love Switzerland...I spent some of very finest vacations in the city of Lugano of the Italian Canton. https://www.reddit.com/r/guns/comments/2cl0uk/swiss_gun_ownership_and_gun_laws_condensed_into_a/ Concealed carry licenses are EXTREMELY hard to get. You have to prove that your life or the life of other people is in danger, or that you need a gun for your job. After getting the permit you have to pa...
