They always exhale when performing their explosive movements. Exhaling means that you will inhale as well. Meaning, you will be getting rid of the old carbon dio...

Re: Child Of War
I have finished and 'savored' every word from the first book. Art is gifted in his writings as he has a way to place the reader in the type of physical and psychological action being read to the point where you can feel your own adrenaline flowing. One book you want to read, then re-read, and then r...

Re: ART'S LESSON --
That's an excellent drill, Art. In my opinion it can also be useful in fending off 'nasty bites' at that range. I mentioned the case I had in Brockton, where in my investigation of it, I met Lt. Gentile, who had had the tip of his nose completely bitten off, when closing with an opponent to make an ...

Hi Art, Good job with the forum...lots of work and discipline, like martial arts practice. But do me a favor...I am not a grand master of anything...just a senior student always willing to learn something I find useful... But you are right about lots of eyes looking... https://s-media-cache-ak0.pini...

Yup...
I guess those were the reasons why all the 'world champions' of other styles in the Boston area, wanted to come up to our dedicated sparring classes to try us out.
Fun days.

Yes, that was a fun friendly match. Had that been a real fight, Nev would probably have knocked me out... He was a boxing 'Golden Glove' champion and a ' nut cake' He had a very beautiful wife who became a playboy Bunny out of the Boston playboy club. One night as she was coming home from ...
