Thank you.

I just wanted to thank Mattson Sensei for publishing two articles from my new blog - All is in Sanchin. It is only a few weeks old and the goal is to pass along my personal experiences and try to gear it towards Kyu levels and parents. It's at http://allisinsanchin.blogspot.com/.

I've been doing exercises to strengthen my core and hamstring. I will be finally going back to the dojo this month. I am excited but will be taking it slowly. This has also helped: http://egwellness.com/, though it does not directly address my issue.

The Merits of Physical Theraphy (are there any?)

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/01/07/health/nutrition/07best.html?em When I hurt my back last May, PT was prescribed, and paid for. The stretching was good for me and the TENS treatment felt really good but it didn't actually help my condition (herniated disk rubbing up against the sciatic nerve) or t...

Dojos in or near Reading, Mass.

I'm looking for recommendations for some "good" dojos in or near Reading, Mass. I have a friend who just moved there and I want to get him to look into Uechi training. He is a BJJ guy but can't find one to his needs right now - close by with daytime classes. Thanks.

Take it for what it is worth, but this particular episode of HDNet World Reports had a great piece on Hospitals and Emergency Room crisies. http://www.hd.net/worldreport_epguide.html It is episode 713 and available on iTunes if you don't get this channel and you're so inclined to buy it. Uechi-ryu Hall of Fame

I sporadically see some teachers as belonging to the "Uechi-ryu Hall of Fame" on various web sites.

Is there such a thing? If so what are the details on it? (who runs it, qualifications, website, etc.) Just curious. Thanks.

A short-term solution would be Directed High Energy Weapons, but alas, they are not yet perfected. Options would be High Energy Laser (HEL) and High Power Microwave (HPM) Weapons. Used in conjunction with actually fixing Africa's long-term, political, economic, corruption and educational problems, (...

Some dogs do take longer and you may not always get everything you want from them. Sneaky dogs are fun though. We adopted two miniature dachshunds (brother and sister) that apparently had had no training whatsoever and they were about 3-5 years old. They were from a house fire where the owner had be...

Actually the biggest reason for starting the thread wasn't to get advice on training, although I'll take all I can get. I bet you weren't expecting it. :) I figure I have some experience there. My Uechi is not as far along as most here so I read and learn and "speak up" when other subject...
