These are the same circular arguments we keep having, year after year after year. Continuing screeds about tort refrom continue to be nothing more than business protection reform. Unconvinced otherwise. All full of sound and fury, signifying nothing and an incredible time waster. Hava a good weekend...

From Bill, we get 1) Prevent the problem in the first place through standardization of EHR and application of six sigma methods. From Ian, we get: And as for policies for better care? Things must be individualized. Let me know when the experts agree. Then we can talk. Otherwise, Bill gets the gridlo...

Yes, Ian, I have heard of lawyers getting sued and loosing for malpractice. They are in the papers all the time. Legal malpractice insurance isn't cheap, either. I agree with you on following policies for better care. What do we do with doctors who won't? Also something Bill hasn't addressed. Gene

Give it a rest, Bill. Your single minded solution to this issue is mind boggling. I continue to remain unconvince you really want actual tort reform - just business protection reform. Kow how I know this, Bill? Because you haven't mentioned a single solution that helps to protect those onthe wrong e...

When you behave badly, expect to be the target of others' wrath Which is why we have an impartial court system to those behaving badly - illicit actions by corporations, medical malpractice and rogue police and prosecutors to name a few - can be the target of of severe financial penalties for their...

You mean "Tort Reform" as "Business Friendly Reform"? Sorry, Bill. There is a reason why that's a non-starter in Congress. Just as many lawyers that are Republican as Democrats.

Nice try, Bill.

Unless you live here, you have no idea why Scott Brown is Ted Kennedy's successor. All the political pundits nationally got it wrong. Health care reform is ony one issue and certainly not a pressing issue like 2 wars, a still moribound economy and unemployment that isn't getting much better. It coul...

Uh Bill, John Edwards hasn't held public office for several years, Ted Kennedy's dead and Chappaquiddick happened over 40 years ago. You, seriously man, need to find more current enemies.

Nothing new here, Bill. Just more irrational rantings from a sore loser on lawsuits.

Bill, Outsourcing manufacturing has been going on for decades. Have you read Ted Kennedy's memoir, True Compass ? In it he talks of meetings with then President Reagan about what the gov't could do to help the shoe industry, which was closing plants and making shoes overseas. In those two meetings, ...

That was the answer I was looking for. Exhibit A, Bill, on you being one the instructors that "get it". Now the big question is why others have such a hard time with this.

Bill, I still have no clue what your postion here is. More equipment, less equipment or just different equipment? More rules, less rules or different rules? In any case, it's clear that things aren't necessarily better YOUR opinion, and not necessarily fact. I argue that things aren't necesrily bett...
