No leftists news sources. Just the right wing Fox News. bill, why don't you quote what i said in full? what i said was, "fox news gets so much factually wrong that it's hard to think of a media outlet that rivals them on the left. certainly none in terms of size and audience." if you thin...

into the pool, feet first! Sara Palin is showing herself to be a classic fiscal conservative. sarah palin is the very definition of a fiscal conservative. http://tinyurl.com/5umpmm (bloomberg) uh, or not. She says she broke with the ``old-boy network'' by facing down oil and gas companies over energ...

http://tinyurl.com/6j8qel (washington post, for all you believers in the SCLM conspiracy) apparently, palin was against teen mothers before she was for them: "Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the Republican vice-presidential nominee who revealed Monday that her 17-year-old daughter is pregnant, earlier...

the blog response has been interesting and more nuanced than the news reports, which have generally been either the "those wacky japanese, they even do multiple homicides differently" or the "crime is rising in japan" type. http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/JapanProbe/~3/307788872/ ...

i could be wrong, but i believe the name change to shohei came about as the result of a legal challenge to right to use the uechi name. that situation, as far as i'm aware, has resolved itself. most groups associated with what was shohei now refer to themselves as uechi practitioners, under the okik...

You bring up a good point. I would leave the art of raw fish preparation to the typically obsessive-compulsive Japanese culture. There is a right and a wrong way to prepare sushi and sashimi so you don't get sick. And there are more ways to do it wrong than there are ways to do it right. Absolutely...

i will try just about any kind of food at least once. natto, which is fermented soy beans. half of japan swears by it, the other agrees with me and thinks it's foul. they have regular contests to see who can pull the longest string of "natto snot" on their chopsticks. the consistency, whic...

Listen to the Apathy in your reply. You have absolutely no idea what is happening in this world do you? this is cute. you can't actually refute any of justin's arguments, so you spend your time insulting him? apathy is expressed by somebody who doesn't care. if anything, justin has been the opposit...

but I don't think simply concentrating our vinegar more and more is going to help us catch these flies, either. http://imgs.xkcd.com/comics/flies.png apparently, though, more vinegar is exactly what we need! joking aside, the lengths that some people will go to in the hopes of justifying the behavi...

it was my first camp in five years, and it was small but feisty. there was a high level of energy and intensity coming from everybody, and it showed in the seminars.

i'll try and get low-rez copies of the photos i took to george this week.

I just want to stress that it is interesting to retain at least an understanding of what has been "dropped" from the "regular" training curriculum. There is also a white belt kata, the name of which I've forgotten, that was used to teach transitioning from sanchin stance to horse...
