Re: You have 10 second. What do you see?

Are you just referring to his MMA experience? That's been reported in various places.

Re: You have 10 second. What do you see?

Are you saying that his crooked nose may indicate boxing experience, perhaps working directly with Tamerlan? Partial credit. You have one more detail to find, and then you need to complete the picture. (The full picture is somewhat subjective, but impressions matter.) - Bill There's also what's pro...

Re: Just for the record

No matter how much an emotionally-hijacked misandrist wants to make someone feel otherwise, men are men. This is the part I think does a disservice to men. I don't think it's misandrist to argue that men aren more nuanced and complex than the stereotypes suggest. I heard an interesting piece on the...

Re: Just for the record

Justin sees *me* to be *his* version of a political boogeyman. I don't really, though. I just thought it was funny. You're usually quite articulate, but in that particular paragraph you stumbled and wrote something that came out sounding wrong. I definitely get that your goal was to rail against th...

The 'smackdown' A must see and hear... http://www.therightscoop.com/must-watch-judge-jeanines-epic-smackdown-on-the-mother-of-the-boston-jihadi-bombers/ As a pseudo-bostonian (only lived in Boston proper for a year, but spent my whole life in Boston subburbs) I disagree with a lot of the thin...

Re: Beware the Facebook Sirens

I've never really understood why you'd friend someone unknown to you (unless you're a celebrity reaching out to fans). I guess if you're lonely or looking to hook up it makes some sense, but I think there are better sites for both of those things than Facebook.

Re: Today I am a Bostonian

It's you who doesn't get it Bill  ....look it's quite simple. If a country kills the innocent civillians of another country, then their own citizens become fair game. I do not agree with this. First of all, not everyone in the country agrees with the policy. How can someone who is against the...

Re: Today I am a Bostonian

Bullhockey. You're implying innocent people deserved to be slaughtered en masse . It's the "she deserved to be raped" argument. I'm not pulling punches here. That's exactly as I see it. I've repeatedly rejected that perspective, and it's not at all what I'm implying. Read more carefully. ...

Re: Today I am a Bostonian

For all that we try hard not to kill innocent people, ... we are willfully killing them. I rest my case. Those are your own words, Justin, absent the circumlocution. ;-) Those are, and I stand by them. You can both try to avoid killing innocent people and still make choices that end up getting them...

Re: Today I am a Bostonian

Modern U.S. warfare? No. For all that we try hard not to kill innocent people, it still happens frequently. The fact that we're good at reducing the number of innocent people killed by our missiles doesn't change the fact that we are still killing innocent people in significant numbers. We may not ...

Re: Today I am a Bostonian

It seems nobody wants to acknowledge that the reasons complicated. Terrorists target the US for multiple reasons. Their poverty and hopelessness is one reason. Our mid-east policy (drone strikes, e.g.) is another. There are more, but that's the dichotomy people seem to argue about. Bill's side seems...

Re: Today I am a Bostonian

Oh but by now I think we do. You are right that Chechens per se aren't attacking America. I never thought that. But radical Islam *is* by proxy attacking us. Except Islamn, and even radical islam is not a monolithic entity. More on that in a moment. This older brother was heavily influenced by the ...

Re: Today I am a Bostonian

The crank news is from folks who report about Saddam's weapons of mass destruction and his ties to Al Qaeda ( funny how they are helping the US in Syria :? )..or the folks like Benanke who said that the housing market was fine just before the crash I pretty much agree with this part. Our media ****...
