Even without that, Rio was an exciting choice. Bringing the Olympics to Chicago means nothing to most Americans. Our national pride is hardly on the line here. Probably most Chicagoans weren't thrilled about the possibility, either. Bringing the Olympics to Brazil seems like such a happy thing in every respect. It makes me happy for them.

In principle I don't have a problem with the president advocating for the US even in such a shallow matter, but I think it was worth a roll of the eyes. Let other leaders demean their own offices; it is beneath the office of President of the United States, IMHO. I think, however, that he was in a situation where his personal loyalties compelled him to give it 100%, even if that were counterproductive. Having tried and lost, who can blame him now for not trying hard enough? All we can do is criticize him for trying too hard, which seems kind of lame on our parts, too. All this is worth is a shrug of the shoulders and moving on. Meanwhile, I'm happy for Brazil.

You can do better than that, Miss Vicki. They aren't from Rio.

But I'm not so sure you'd be crazy about the swimming attire of males in Rio.

But if you want to gush over some pics of movie stars in bathing suits, I suppose I can give you some.

Take your pick!

You know, Bill, some times less is not necessarily more...

I'm sure there are some wonderfully pleasing, aesthetic viewing in Brazil.

I am not crazy about the little mini tongas the Brazilian women wear either, for that matter.

My tendency is rather modest, actually. Even if I had a body like the women posted, you wouldn't catch me in anything that shows that much flesh.

Like I said, "less is not necessarily more" in my book. It is nice to leave more to the imagination...much more enticing, I think.

Good for Brazil for the Olympics! Rio is wild enough, especially during Carnival. I would hate to have to be a policeman in that city during the Olympics.

Regards,
Vicki

The 'man purse' thing is the rage in Europe. Many men (that are not gay) carry them and have been for years.

BTW, when you look at Christiano Renaldo, you get glimpses of Micheangelo's David...very similar in proportion, just looking at him. The man has an incredible body.

FWIW,
Vicki

I'd hate to be wearing one of those Lycra suits while walking on the beach around women wearing those Rio cut bikinis.

Yep, doesn't leave a whole lot to the imagination, does it?

There is nothing sexier on a man than a flat stomach (or on a woman for that matter) and it helps to have muscular glutes too.

Sorry...see what you did Bill?

Just my personal opinion,
Vicki
