Hi all,
I'm new to the forums and to Uechi-Ryu, but so far the reading is very interesting. I am currently practicing/learning in Rockville, MD.
I previously studied Koburyu, which is derived from Uechi and currently headed by Kincho Takashi Keicho.
I look forward to learning more about this style.
For future reference, does anyone know of a dojo in Iowa?
Cheers,
Nicole

Welcome aboard Nichole. . .
Koburyu???
I thought I was familiar with all the Uechi methods. Is there a website that describes this system and the founder?
Looking forward to reading more from you on these pages.

Welcome, Nicole.
George, I did a little web sleuthing. Ko-bu ryu looks to be a spin-off from konan-ryu.
