Thanks @emattson for the links and suggestions.
The new editions doesn't have good reviews. and the 1999 edition is so expensive to buy new. Looking for a used one is the only option left.
Thanks again for the help.

Re: Mabuni Kenwa Sensei and Uechi Kanbun Sensei
These three are actually compilations of articles that were published in the now defunct Journal of Asian Martial Arts between 1992 and 2012, with 21 articles coming from the 1990s, 14 from the 2000s, and 6 from the 2010s. They thus constitute an important repository of JAMA articles but the information they contain is not particularly new at this point.emattson wrote: ↑Thu Jul 27, 2023 8:29 pm If you want newer books on Okinawan Martial Traditions, this three volume set sold in Amazon may be what you want. I haven't read them so I can't give any reviews of their quality:
Okinawan Martial Traditions: te, tode, karate, karatedo, kobudo by Jon Bluming, Michael DeMarco, Mary Bolz, Richard Forence, Ronald Freund, and more. They are published between 2016 and 2017.

Thanks. Good to know the origin of the book's materials. Sounds like you want Uechi-Ryu news happening after 2012. I know martial arts are still popular in Boston, MA because I attended many festivals where Kung-Fu students give demonstrations.Glenn wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2023 7:02 pmThese three are actually compilations of articles that were published in the now defunct Journal of Asian Martial Arts between 1992 and 2012, with 21 articles coming from the 1990s, 14 from the 2000s, and 6 from the 2010s.
