The reality is that the better you learn how to train, the better you will also need to learn how to recover.

This is the Yin & Yang of fitness and both sides are necessary to produce the optimal results especially when we get more mature.

We will cover physical forms of recovery (mobility, flexibility, daily movement) but also lifestyle and mental forms of recovery which include contrast therapy, meditation, dopamine fasts, relaxation techniques and more.

We will also touch on how to eliminate stress and anxiety from your life by letting go off control and learning how to relax.

This, by far, has been one of the most important things I have learned in my life.

Agree that good recovery technique is important. The Uechi-Ryu principle often warn students not to over-train to prevent injuries.

"Primal Kettlebell" "Animal Flow"

Primal Kettlebell is a brand name for kettlebells. Weights shaped like an angry ape are a nice artistic touch though they the reviewers complained that they're overpriced and the "Carved" design makes them mostly useless on one side. Kettlebell workouts are great for conditioning or cardio since it can be used for quick, explosive movements like swings, cleans, and snatches.

Mike Fitch, who founded Animal Flow, based his movements on what he learned from breakdancing, parkour and gymnastic. He had no training in martial arts or yoga. Both yoga and Animal Flow include movements intended to improve your mobility, flexibility and stability. The difference is Animal Flow focus on moving through a range-of-motion, rather than holding a static position. It may help with managing weight. It is new, created in 2010. it will be interesting to see if it can survive the test of time.
