Hips

In karate movements, I was taught that hips play an important role in moving the body. Where your hips are positioned determines the placement of the rest of the body. It's interesting that the artist community appear to agree. In Mixamo, a company that creates 3D characters for computer animation tools, the primary part of the human armature that connects everything together is the hip.
