If ever I would leave you
it wouldn’t be in summer
seeing you in summer
I never could go
Your hair streaked with sunlight
your lips red as flame
Your face with a luster
that puts gold to shame
If ever I would leave you
it wouldn’t be in autumn
How I’d leave in autumn
I never would know
I’ve seen how you sparkle
when fall nips the air
I’ve seen you in autumn
and I must be there
And could I leave you
running merrily through the snow?
Or on a wintry evening
when you catch the fire’s glow?
If ever I would leave you
How could it be in springtime
knowing how in spring
I’m bewitched by you so
Oh, no not in springtime,
summer, winter or fall
No never could I leave you at all!

Yeah -- but I'd bet you'd carry the sword!

Drew - it was a great to get to meet you and to be a part of the show. Proving once again the people in Uechi not only have awsome karate skills and wonderful senses of humor -- we can also sing and dance!

Same time next year?

Dana,
You are a good sport, an awesome martial artist, and I'm sure we all learned when to "Back off! Just Back off!" I'd love to get to the camp next summer, depending on orders of the USMC, but short of that... Let's get that regional workout together! Til next time.

What a wonderful bunch of people that come to camp...and an awful lot of fun too! I love you guys and gals. Every year I have been honored to meet so many people with so much to share. I appreciate the mentoring that occurs at camp each year. It is always good to have someone better than me to bring me along. The learning process continues when I reciprocate by bringing another less experienced person along. Every year I am able to bring great stuff back to the dojo to share with others. I just want to thank everyone who pours a little bit of his/her expertise and knowledge into me. By the way, I never fail to learn something from you Dana. I am blessed. Thank you. P.S. I never got to see Drew dance or sing....that would be a treat.

Well...he dances a good kata anyway. I can't speak for his waltz or soft shoe.

Vicki - thank you for your kind remarks - and welcome to the forums! I hope you'll drop by and share some of your wisdom and experience with us on a regular basis.

The more the merrier!!!!
