Pardon my ignorance, but what is a kinetic blade?

Bram Frank's Gunting (which can be found on the Spyderco website) is secondarily a knife. Primarily, it's a short stick/knuckle projection/impact tool that works well on pressure points.

Should the fecal matter strike the propeller, the blade can be released very quickly through impact; hence, kinetic blade.

It's a multi-level force-continuum tool.

It's also too damned big for my small hand and I'm waiting for Bram's mini-Gunting before I play....
