What I thought was interesting was how close to the front door center he brought his elbows in. This had been a question in my mind because if you apply the WCK concepts to the Uechi moves then the elbows need to come in quite a bit for purposes of centerline occupation. The palm up position apparently has the same name in both styles, called Tan or Ton Sao or "dispersing hand."
Wonder if that guy is around these days. I think he taught in NYC's Chinatown, a hell of a place to go shopping for kung fu.
