Movie: "The Challenge"

Post by Kuma-de »

I posted this on another forum today:
I have also enjoyed the movie "The Challenge" starring Toshiro Mifune and Scott Glenn (Hunt for Red October):

I'll try to upload it onto my Veoh page the next few days.
I uploaded "The Challenge" onto my VEOH site today and as I write it is being processed by VEOH for viewing. It is a modern samurai movie that I would rate R mostly for language. I have always enjoyed Toshiro Mifune as an actor and he portrays a great Bujutsu Sensei here;

Check my page out in a bit to see if the video has completed the upload process. You can join VEOH for free and save the movie to your favorites which automatically transfers it to your VEOH file on your D. You can also choose "Watch on VEOH TV" or download it directly to your HD if you want to save it for your library.

Enjoy!

The Challenge is also one of my favorite movies for obvious reasons. It was recommended to me by my friend of many years, years ago, Michael Descoteau and I was able to get a copy of it and view it. Toshiro Mifune has been in numerous movies and this one,of course, adds to his lustre,despite what critics might say. If you look closely at the thing, you will find some interesting aspects to the aikido utilized there. If I am not mistaken, Steven Seagal has something to do with this movie but I can't recall exactly what.

Yes, Seagal was the Aiki jutsu person that oversaw those fight scenes
