Tony Blauer Summer Camp Offer!

Post by gmattson »

I am happy to report that Tony is willing to inturrupt his Maine vacation to attend our Summer Camp. . . providing we can assemble 100 of the Uechi seniors for a Sunday morning seminar! (13th of August)
This seminar would take place in the main gymnasium from 9am - lunch time and would be limited to dojo owners and instructors from any self defense system.

Tony would probably attend the Saturday night demonstrations, dan tests and party and would put on a brief demonstration and introduction to his program and "high gear".

I need firm[/] committments! If you qualify and want to be part of this fantastic gathering, please e-mail me ASAP! Watch the Summer Camp Forum for updates!
Best,
George Mattson

1. Opponent A = your mind.
2. Opponent B = your 'actual' opponent
3. Opponent C = Legal [possible 'after-action self-defense]
and ultimately we make our students safer & then our community safer.

Hey thats great news!

Could we define "senior instructors"?

Are we talking 5, 10, 20, or 30 years teaching experience?

I believe Tony would like this seminar to target instructors with a dojo. . . people who might be willing and able to purchase (or at least consider to purchase)his equipment and institute his programs and mindset in their curriculum.

If you fall into this category, please plan to come.

I picked the wrong week to be out of the country. I mean, I couldn't go to Blauer's class, because I'm not a senior, but... this camp sounds good. Darn.

Thanks Jake.

Anyone unfamiliar with my system or philosophy please visit my site www.tonyblauer.com.

There are also several threads on Van Canna's forum about the gear and my philosophy.

Check out the "Redman, Bulletman...." thread as well as A MOMENT OF FAILURE.

Looking forward ot meeting many of you this summer.

Thanks, Tony.

I'll have lots of good questions for you by August. We should have had plenty of time to play with your equipment by then.
